Hey Stenson!
So I just Finished the book Companions of the Nightby Vivian Vande Velde. It was super good! The story is about a girl named Kerry. One night she is studying in her room when her 4 year old brother tells her his stuffed bear "Footy" was at the Laundry mat, and he needed her to get him. So she goes to the laundry mat, and ends up in a thriller, where she might not get out alive!

So yes, good book! I think I'm going to read now! Bye!

Hello 8LA-Readers!

1. Who is this dude who posted on our blog? If he shows up again, I'm not going be as nice...that's a hint, mister. Stay out!

2. Conor, I think you should join our Teen Reader Club. I can't be there always, but you would really like the books we are reading. In fact, without knowing it, or maybe you did know it, you read one of the Book Club titles Companions of the Night. Now I need to go check out your blog! Are teachers allowed on it?

3. Art! I love that you are reading even though you have not been feeling well. I'm excited to read Born to Rock now that you have endorsed it. I love Gordon Korman.

4. Hannah, you are nothing short of amazing. I wish you could read some books for me, only because I have SOOOOOOO many on my list of books to read. Right now, I'm trying to read this scary book called something like What Happened to Cass Someoneoranother. But I also have a book about the history of the CIA (I LOVE NON-FICTION), and I'm listening to The Book Thief. BTW, you should all read that book. It's heart-breakingly beautiful. And, I intend to read parts of it out loud to you when we get into Anne Frank.

5. Riley! Good to see you on the blog.

I'll start a new post soon. Thanks all for making this so much fun!

Stenson,
1. I was like, who is this dude???

2.I did get that book from Mrs. King for TRC. I was going to join, I really wanted to. But I couldn't make it one week, and things came up. Now I have snowriders. I Really really wish I could be in it though! I Love it so much, I sometimes ask Cheyenne what they're reading, then grab the books! =]
And yes Stenson, blog away! I would Love to hear you thoughts about it. I Love when I can talk about books with Teachers because it's always good to know Adults respect you and what you think.

3. I want to read Born to Rock, it looks good. I also one day this summer went to the library with Tasha. While waiting for Madi to show up, I got into a book called Jimmy and Me. Well I was pulled away from the book quickly, as Madi got there soon after us, but I've always meant to pick it back up. It seems like a quick read, so I hope to read that soon!

4.Hannah is amazing!!! You like inspire me Hannah, seriously, you have a new book almost everyday! I wish I could read like that! I hope to start!
Oh and Hannah watch out, Duncan wants to rack up Minutes this week to read more than you!!!

5.Yes Ry, good to see you! ;P

6. Okay so as we all know, I am a huge nerd/geek! And I love The Lord of The Rings! Well I have read the Hobbit over a few times, and The Return of the King. I believe I once read The Two Towers as well. But I've never been able to find The Fellow-ship of the Ring around my house. Well I saw it the other day while trying to find a book and picked it up. If you like the move At all, read it. It looks really long, and it's a bit challenging but still amazing. J.R.R. Tolkien has always amazed me, and The Fellow-Ship has always been my Favorite Movie. Together, It just blows my mind. You get so much more out of the Novel if you read the 6 books! I have set a goal, and that is to by the end of the summer read most of The Lord of The Rings. Now I know this sounds odd and easy. But I'm not just talking about the very very long Novel. I also want to find some of the books that go with it and read them to. I have The Silmarillion in front of me now, and this is part of his work as well. This is a for-story to The Hobbit even. So that is my Goal! By Highschool, read more Tolkien.

Okay that was a long post!
